I’m William Colegate. Founded four years ago, Industrialware is the culmination of my lifelong love for woodworking and design.
Growing up in a creative household, I was always surrounded by art, craftsmanship, and innovation. My earliest memories are filled with the hum of tools and the scent of sawdust, as I spent countless hours in my dad’s shed, assisting him on projects and creating my own. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for what would become my career!
At Industrialware, we bring this rich history and personal touch to every project. I love the entirety of the creation process and the freedom that comes with working for myself. Age 11 Pizza Oven Project with my Dad
Over the years I’ve dabbled in almost every indoor/outdoor home project you can imagine. This one is a personal favourite, and one I still make use of now! Nothing beats a woodfired pizza, as a family we have used this all kinds of food. A great social way of cooking!
My first project…
After a year of delving into metal and welding work - I took on my first wood project. Using various types of wood, I created these custom chopping boards. Creating these ignited my love for woodwork and I’ve never looked back!
